About Our new initiative

At Green Room, we’re passionate about helping local businesses, creatives, and photographers grow their craft and build sustainable careers. Through our Grow at Green Room initiative, we’re introducing two key programs designed to uplift and empower our community while serving as a stepping stone for emerging artists, brands, and professionals.

Studio internship (unpaid)

Our studio internship, also known as the Studio Hand program, is designed for creatives looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional studio environment. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with daily studio operations, including resetting and maintaining the space.

  • Gain behind-the-scenes access to photoshoots, workshops, and other creative projects.

  • Learn directly from our team by asking questions, observing workflows, and participating in creative processes.

  • Access the studio during your internship hours to practice, explore, and refine your skills.

This internship is ideal for those who want to grow their knowledge of studio operations, production, and the creative process while contributing to a professional, collaborative environment.

Workshops and events

Our upcoming workshops are designed to teach both technical and soft skills that creatives and freelancers need to build sustainable careers. From mastering lighting and photography techniques to learning effective business habits and brand strategy, these sessions are created to equip attendees with tools for growth and long-term success.

  • Our workshops are designed to provide you with the tools and knowledge needed to grow your creative career. Whether it’s learning new techniques, refining your skills, or gaining confidence, you’ll leave each workshop equipped to take your craft to the next level. Plus, connect with a supportive community of like-minded creatives

  • We believe education and resources should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we strive to offer our workshops at an affordable cost—or even free—whenever possible. By doing this, we aim to break down barriers and ensure that every creative, regardless of budget, has the opportunity to learn and grow

  • We collaborate with local professionals who bring years of experience and expertise to the table. Our speakers are passionate about helping you master new skills, refine your techniques, and elevate your craft. From photographers to branding experts, they’re here to share their knowledge and inspire your growth
